Welcome to Diverse Student Early Outreach (DSEO) a new division of Student Equity and Diversity at the University of Utah. Working with partners campus-wide, our mission is to assist underrepresented students to achieve their academic and personal goals for college. This is the first phase of our website construction. Upon completion the site will feature university services, programs, and upcoming events geared toward young students grades K-12. We’re also working on an online resource guide that will contain information about organizations and resources to help parents and students become familiar with college preparation resources at the U.

In collaboration with our campus partners, we look forward to the opportunity to introduce young students to the University of Utah community. We hope you’ll visit our site in the future as we work toward providing a well rounded and holistic educational experience for underrepresented students. The Office for Diverse Student Early Outreach promotes collaborations and partnerships that support academic and social preparation for success in higher education. Our focus is on equity and access for all students in order to achieve the University of Utah’s goal of academic excellence.
