American Indian Resource Center

Welcome to the American Indian Resource Center (AIRC) at the University of Utah. Located at 1925 De Trobriand Street, bldg. 622 in the Fort Douglas area of the campus, the center serves as a home away from home for American Indian students, provides support, tutoring, scholarships, computers for research, and a place for meetings, classes and events. AIRC director, Lena Judee, works closely with the university’s Center for Ethnic Student Affairs to recruit, retain and assist American Indian students toward graduation and a successful educational experience at the U.

Under her guidance the center creates and sponsors cultural programming and development, which is an essential component in the success of Indigenous college students. She also dedicates time and attention to grant-seeking and other development activities in order to enhance scholarship support for Indigenous students. The vision for the AIRC is to become a hub for American Indian educational programs, outreach, and retention for the Rocky Mountain Region. Please visit the center or contact Lena for more information.
