College of Law

The Minority Law Caucus (MLC) is an organization of students within the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. The MLC works to increase awareness on issues of diversity within the school and the community. The MLC organizes educational activities for students, faculty, and staff on the University campus, assists the College of Law administration in recruiting future students, and engages in various outreach projects with minority and low-income communities in Utah. MLC members frequently provide volunteer service through various community-based organizations. MLC members also are available to meet with and advise undergraduate and younger students who are contemplating pursuit of legal education or higher education in general.  Other student organizations include Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, Gay and Lesbian Law Alliance, International Law Society, Native American Law Student Association, and Women’s Law Caucus.
