Women’s Resource Center

The Women's Resource Center, a member of the Division of Student Affairs, provides educational support services for women at the University of Utah. The center supports and facilitates women's choices, changes, and empowerment through programs, advocacy, workshops, group and individual counseling. Go Girlz Community Initiative is a program developed over the past year to target underserved populations, primarily minority, first generation, economically disadvantaged female students, grades 6-12, in the Salt Lake City school district, with the goal of early exposure to higher education at the U.  Go Girlz assists with multiple forms of academic preparation, mentoring, and providing role models for these students from various disciplines, racial/ethnics groups and socio-economic backgrounds.
