Student Affairs
Student Affairs contributes to the general mission of the University by providing an opportunity for students to develop their lives and be enlightened citizens and contributors to a free and just society. Student Affairs accomplishes this goal by planning and administering services which contribute to the learning environment and augment the functions of teaching, research, creative scholarship, and public service.
The University of Utah continuously examines its outreach efforts to meet the needs of its ever changing diverse student body. In promoting stronger ties with the Spanish speaking population, the University now offers advising in Spanish. The Enrollment Management Generalist assists Spanish-speaking students within the Wasatch Front and their families to transition from high school to college. In collaboration with Academic and Student Affairs, students and their families can expect to receive academic, admissions, and financial aid advising catered to their specific needs throughout their undergraduate career.
