Venceremos
Venceremos will report issues that mainstream publications will not report. Venceremos will address the everyday issues that affect Chicana (o)/ Latina(o) students and the working-class community. This newspaper will report the struggle to combat all forms of inequality. Venceremos was started in 1993 by a group of Chicana(o)/ Latina(o) students. The organizing of an independent, progressive newspaper on campus was a direct response to what students saw as attacks and deficit based coverage in the media. We currently publish once a semester.
